Enriched oatmeal with "OVOFLO" and cranberries

  • Bring water and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan, on high heat.
  • Whisk together the OVOFLO (eggs), 50 ml (¼ cup) milk and vanilla in a medium size bowl.
  • Pour into boiling water; reduce heat at medium – low.
  • Add oats and let simmer until desired thickness, approximately 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally while checking that the mixture does not stick to bottom of pan.
  • Divide into serving bowls; add milk, cranberries and brown sugar.
  • Serve with fresh fruit.

NOTE : You can substitute dried cranberries by raisins, dried apricots, dates…

  • 250 ml OVOFLO (4 eggs)
  • 500 ml Water (2 cups)
  • 1 ml Salt (¼ teaspoon)
  • 50 ml 2% Milk (¼ cup)
  • 2 ml Cinnamon (½ teaspoon)
  • 2 ml Vanilla (½ teaspoon)
  • 300 ml Quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant) (1¼ cup)
  • 325 ml 2% Milk (1⅓ cup)
  • 50 ml Dried cranberries (¼ cup)
  • 20 ml Brown sugar (4 teaspoon)
