Decadent French toast

  • Beat together OVOFLO, milk and vanilla. Reserve.
  • Cut 2 slices of home-baked style bread approximately  ±2 cm (± 1 po.). Next, make an incision in the center of each slice and take care to keep a joined section of about ±1 cm (± ½ po.) near bottom
  • Spread cream cheese in the center of each slice covered with raspberry jam (or marmalade to choice)
  • Dip each bread in mixture and turn on each side until well coated
  • Melt butter in skillet and cook bread slices on both sides until slightly roasted.
  • Serve with fruit as accompaniment.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml Ovoflo lightly beaten (4 eggs)
  • 60 ml Milk (¼ cup)
  • 5 ml Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • 2 Slices of bread
  • 10 ml Butter (2 teaspoons)
  • 10 ml Cream cheese (2 teaspoons)
  • 10 ml Raspberry jam (2 teaspoons)
